defiltered.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the defiltered.ai website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

defiltered.ai is a live product. Each account holder (“professional”) publishes an AI-chattable career profile; visitors can chat with that profile and submit job descriptions for a fit assessment.

Account data— your email address and profile slug when you create an account or start a free trial.

Career content you provide— the resume, documents, career narrative, projects, and other profile information you upload or enter, which become the basis of your public profile and its AI persona.

Conversation & assessment content — messages sent to a profile’s AI chat, and any job description a visitor submits for a fit assessment or opportunity analysis.

Usage data— page views, referral source, and similar analytics. Non-essential analytics are collected only after you accept them via our cookie-consent banner.

• To build, host, and serve your public career profile and its AI chat persona
• To generate AI responses, fit assessments, opportunity analyses, and generated visuals — which requires sending the relevant career content, chat messages, and job descriptions to the AI providers listed below
• To process billing and subscriptions
• To send service-related communications and respond to your inquiries
• To understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the product

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. We use Supabase for data storage with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to essential personnel only.

We use the following sub-processors, which may process your data on our behalf:

• Supabase— database, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel— website hosting
• Anthropic (Claude)— AI processing of career content, chat messages, and job descriptions to generate profile responses and assessments
• Google (Gemini)— text embeddings for search and AI-generated profile visuals
• Stripe— subscription and payment processing
• Resend— transactional email delivery
• Upstash— rate limiting

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. AI providers process your content to return a result; we do not permit them to use your content to train their models beyond what their standard business terms allow.

We use essential cookies required for site functionality (e.g., authentication and chat sessions). We do not use advertising cookies. Non-essential analytics run only after you accept them via the cookie-consent banner shown on public pages, and you can decline at any time.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Unsubscribe from communications at any time

We may update this policy as our product develops. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
